I've never really been able to get into pre-Keith 1971 Dead, primarily due to the lack of serious jammage. The ones I do tend to pull out are the few with the Dark Stars (2/18, for example), and there were some nice Other Ones in that era as well (often paired with those fantastic early Wharf Rats). Though they really do SHINE on the "first set" material. I'm always blown away by the Bobby McGee's and the El Paso's and such from the era. And Pig had some sweet Good Lovin's in there, too...
